I can honestly tell you that gratitude for what you have has the power to make you feel happier every day! Without gratitude, you’ll find yourself lacking excitement or energy to get through the day. And you’ll feel overwhelmed by all the ups and downs of this journey called life.
I love this quote by Eckhart Tolle…
“Acknowledging the good that you already have in your life is the foundation for all abundance.”
When you establish a daily practice of being grateful for what you have, you’ll feel better (physically and mentally), build meaningful relationships, and bring more happiness to your life! You’ll also smile more, hold your head higher, feel more confident, and have an overall sense of peace.
Besides making you happier, expressing gratitude enhances empathy and reduces feelings of anger. You’ll also probably sleep better, feel less depressed, and appreciate your life more. When you practice gratitude on a regular basis, you start to change how you think and feel too!
There’s so much to be grateful for EVEN when it seems like nothing is going right in your life. Each time you open your eyes is another chance for you to be thankful. The roof over your head, the food you eat, and the bed you sleep in are just a few examples of the blessings you already have.
I promise that as you start expressing gratitude for the good things in your life, it’ll get easier to do. And you’ll start to see how being grateful can bring more things to your life that you’re even more grateful for!
So, let me ask you…do you want to be happier?
Remember, you’ve got everything you need to get anything you want. And journaling is one of the tools that’ll help you figure out what that is.
I’m thrilled that you’re here! And if you’re curious, you can check out more of my story here.

One of the things I’m most grateful for is my meditation practice. It’s my go-to for calming my mind and soothing my nervous system. If you want to learn more, listen to the How a Daily Meditation Practice Quickly Improves Your Life episode of the Tough Love for Sensitive Soul’s podcast.
Plus, there’s a FREE workbook for you to download!
Inside the Finding Balance With Meditation – A Beginners Guide To Feeling Peace and Calm Among The Chaos workbook, you can practice 6 different guided meditations that are 10 minutes or less. You’ll also learn how to prepare for an amazing practice and what to do if your mind wanders.
While you’re trying each one, you can make notes about the meditation, then use the 3 journal prompts to document your experience. And you can type directly into the workbook!
